Here are some of my final thoughts on exercise:
  1. If you are just starting to exercise, make sure to consult a physician and do not overexert yourself.
  2. When weight lifting, concentrate more on form than on the amount of weight you can lift.
  3. Exercise helps improve the longevity of one's life.
  4. Exercise helps improve one's health and one's overall self-esteem.
  5. Be sure to warm up, stretch, and cool down in order to protect your muscles.
  6. Exercise increases energy levels and therefore, increases your metabolism.
  7. By working out, or training, you will not only have a firm body, but a sound mind.
  8. It helps to change your weight lifting routine often in order to keep your muscles always working so they don't get too used to one routine.
  9. You must allow your body enough time to rest and heal.
  10. Proper nutrition is a must. . . Carbohydrates are your body's best fuel.
  11. Being consistent with workouts is important.
